We Are Open! Correct as of Thursday 30th July 2020

We have now re-opened both our Bromley and Tunbridge Wells schools with precautions, protocols and a limited timetable. Below is what we have been doing in each location:

Kung Fu Bromley

Locations and Safety:

Indoors
  • Each class has a limited capacity to allow room to move around without children bumping into each other. 
  • Parents and visitors can stay in the hall if it is under or up to capacity of the room. Chairs are seperated by 2 metres.
  • The United Reformed Church (URC) does not allow parents and visitors to stay in the church unless they are in the training hall
  • Entry is by the side building of the church but visitors can ring the bell on the front door. Exit is via the fire escapes 
  • Hand gel stations are located outside of each hall within the building and by the toilets. Kung Fu Bromley also has our own available to use as well
  • Every other toilet, urinal and hand sink is blocked off by the URC
Outdoors
  • Hand gel supplied by the club used before and after class
  • Parents can stay and watch as we our outdoors
  • Classes with limited capacity

Training - indoors and outdoors

  • Training is non-contact with other members
  • Equipment used such as fitness equipment is cleaned before and after every use if touched by hands. 
  • Hands to be cleaned before and after class
  • No face masks required by members and requested to be not worn by parents and visitors for security and safeguarding reasons
  • Punching pads are not used 
  • Punch bags such as wavemasters (used indoors) are being used but cleaned before and after every class. Members can purchase or bring gloves for extra protection for hygeine and safety while striking
